Mys's story of Apoland used for school

Apoland

Apoland – only few people know about this magnificent paradise, an island swimming in the neverending shores of the oceans of the world – a cello-shaped utopie. There isn't a real answer to the question where you can find this mysterious country, the island of Apoland can be found everywhere and nowhere.

The marvellous landscape, full of magnificent forests and towns with a flair you can't find anywhere else in the world. The mountains dominate the island's centre, stretching from The Hall Of The Mountain King in the south to Mount Apo far in the north.

The six big cities, namely Eiccatown et Antsaburgh in the nord, at the feet of Mount Apo , the mighty king of the mountains, Perttuville, the city of opera, of the playstation and of temporary klutziness, connected thorugh the Teddypass with Paavocity, the last city of the north.

When you're travelling from Perttuville south, you've got lots of possibilites if your destination is called Hell-sink-in, the capital of this magic island. You can take the train down the railway or – if you prefer the journey over water to that on the land – the ferry which is travelling over the ocean, over the river and enables you to admire the beauty of Lake Hope before you're arriving in the idyllic harbour of Hell-sink-in. Follow the railway another time or choose The Old Path for travelling to Mikkovillage, the last of the six towns and located at the most southern point of Apoland.

The north and the south, two regions which are as different as day and night. The mountains dominate the north, the part of the island which shall represent the neck of the cello. The south in comparison is full of forests, fields and lakes like the Fisheye Lake and it bears the biggest national park of the country, the Evergreen Forest .

If you're planning to travel the south in summer you've got the chance to visit the annual Shakespeare festival at ‘Häxeholm', the danish castle of the witches of Apoland.
Don't miss this unique island !
It might be an utopia but dreams of a better world helped forming that country.
Apoland – the country where the cellos rule.

Teacher's comment:
Well done, Vanessa. Work is a bit « random ». Attempt to add more structures and opinion statements. Vocabulary is good.
